D
. Playing the Game

Brewski Ball can be played a number of ways but the bottom line is to make more shots than your competition. Please see the variations below or make up your own game and be sure to share it with us.

E. Miscellaneous

Tabs - RMHC benefits greatly from all of the millions of aluminum tabs donated each year. It only takes a second to pop it and stick it in a cup. Any player that throws a can with the tab still on will have to chug their beverage.

Misses - If your can hits the backboard or bucket but does not go through, you must take a drink

Air Balls - If your can completely misses the backboard and bucket you must take a chug from your drink

Twenty One (21)

Each player must have 5 cans to start game

2-20 players can play

Standard:

Round 1
Player 1 tosses all 5 cans consecutively into bucket from 10' = 1 pt, 15' = 3 pts or 20' = 5 pts
Player 2 tosses their 5 cans
Player 3 ....

Scores are written down
Round 2
Player 1 tosses 2 cans consecutively into bucket
Player 2 tosses their 2 cans
Player 3 ....

Scores are written down
Round 3 (if needed) same as round 2

Tie breaker: If two or more players acheive 21 during the same round then a tie breaker is played
Each winner must shoot a 5 pointer until someone misses

H.O.R.S.E. or P.U.$.$.Y

Object: Get the least amount of letters

Equipment: Standard Brewski Ball or a Brewski Totem
Each player must have 1 can to start game

2-20 players can play

Game Play:
Player 1 is whoever gets the first shot off. They can shoot from anywhere they want as long as it is at least 10 feet away from the Brewski Ball
If Player 1 makes the shot, Player 2, 3 etc must make the same shot.
If Player 1 misses the shot, Player 2 can shoot from anywhere they want

Player 3 ....
Scores are written down
First person to reach H.O.R.S.E is the loser

Other rules:
1. O-U-T or P-I-G, a faster version of H-O-R-S-E.
2. Proving the Shot: After someone gets H-O-R-S-E, the person who originally made the shot must make the shot again from the same spot to prove that the shot was skill and not luck. If he makes it, the other player is out, but if he misses, the other player stays in.

Around the World

Around the world is a game variant played by two or more players. In this game, a series of shots must be made in and around the key, allowing a player to advance to the next position. The first player to make a shot at each position advances until he reaches the end where he wins the match.

Play typically starts at the edge of the key on one side of the basket. If the shot is made, the player advances to the next position mark on the key. When a player has made shots on every position mark, they then advance to the free throw line (10 foot line). When a free throw is made that player wins/

If at any point a shot is missed, a player may 'chance', meaning he gets to take a second shot but they must drink the beverage on the spot. (original can can not be used). If the second shot is made, the player advances as normal. If the player misses the second shot, then the player must go back to the start. The player has only one chance the whole game.

Another game which is similar is played exactly like Around the World, except you start directly in front of the hoop and move a step backwards after each shot, usually ending at half court
